 September News and Updates
For those that don't know: September (born Petra Linnea Paula Marklund 12 September 1984) is a Swedish dance singer. She was born to a Slovenian mother with a musical past and a Swedish father who is a professor in space physics. She started recording music in studios at the age of 12 and when she was 17, she sang in a rock band and gained a record deal. September released her first single at age 18 in 2003 and has since released three studio albums in her home country of Sweden as of November 2010. She was signed to Robbins Entertainment in 2005 and has released three dance singles in the US with them: "Satellites", "Cry for You" and "Can't Get Over". Prior to signing with Robbins, September's music took a turn away from rock and towards pop and dance, where she remains today. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/September_%28singer%29

It was weird, Mikrofonkat and Resuscitate me were both in the top 10 on itunes everyday this past week, but Resuscitate Me was not even in the Top 60 for the singles chart which came out yesterday. I'm guessing next week it will make its debut.

 Re: September News and Updates
As I've posted it somewhere else, I think that her cover of "Mikrofonkat" is a bomb. This song has been made for a real TV show in Sweden, where (from what I've understood) several "famous" singers have to cover each other' songs. Originally "Mikrofonkat" is sung by a rapper named Petter. This is something you might not know : if you are into trance music (I totally am ), you might know a UK singer named Andrea Britton, she has been featured on many, many very fine and classy vocal trancy tunes (look her up on Youtube). I had the unique chance to exchange a couple of emails with her a couple of months ago, and she told me that she was working on some tracks the new September album! That is definately awesome news, now let's wait & see...

 Re: September News and Updates
Cool. Do we have an expected release date for that album? Was it early 2011?

 Re: September News and Updates
I have no idea if Robbins plans to release the album. For Sweden at least, yea I think it is planned around Christmas/early 2011.
